Pricing
One fee. 7% of the job.
No subscriptions, no lead fees, no charge to post. Plumb earns only when a job is paid. Today the customer pays the fee on top of the job price, so pros keep the full price.
| Job price | Plumb fee | Customer pays | Pro receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| $150.00 | $10.50 | $160.50 | $150.00 |
| $300.00 | $21.00 | $321.00 | $300.00 |
| $600.00 | $42.00 | $642.00 | $600.00 |

Smallest job: $75.00
Card costs make tiny jobs lose money, so jobs start at $75.00.
Declining an estimate
If a pro came out to quote and you decline, you pay their $50.00 site-visit fee plus Plumb's fee: $53.50. Approving another estimate or cancelling the job is free.
Refunds
If a dispute is decided in your favor, the full amount you paid into escrow goes back to your card.
Questions
- When is my card charged?
- When a pro has accepted your job (or you approve an estimate) and you fund escrow. Posting a job is free, and you can cancel any time before you pay.
- What if the work is not right?
- Open a dispute instead of approving. The money stays in escrow while Plumb looks at the photos and the job history and decides within 3 business days.
- Can the price go above my budget?
- The rising offer never goes above your budget. A pro with a crew or verified insurance earns a bonus on top, and you see that final price before you pay. If you don’t want it, cancel before paying.
- Who pays the card fee?
- Plumb does, out of its fee. You pay the job price plus the Plumb fee, nothing else.
